Tain is the definition of ‘a hidden gem’ in Scottish golf. Great value for a excellent golf course. You can feel plenty of Old Tom Morris design features with holes navigating the bumps and swales and using them as defences. The course holds it’s own again the neighbours. We played it one evening in May and left feeling pleasantly surprised.
